As an editor, I help authors cultivate confidence, clarity, and craftsmanship in their work.
As a healer, I help women access their wholeness and power through shamanic bodywork, earth-based ceremony, and birth support.
Writing is my favorite way to express myself, and I strive to write from a place of vulnerability, generosity, and authenticity.

My editorial approach
I love books and I believe in their power to transform us—as authors, readers, and as a collective.
Each manuscript requires a different kind of attention, so my approach is not one size fits all. From early book coaching to complete line editing, I work with authors at every stage of the process.
With deep experience in the publishing industry, I know what makes books stand out to editors and provide you with recommendation for positioning your work while staying true to your vision.
In the age of automation, I believe there’s a premium on authenticity. It takes an editor’s human intuition and creativity to know how and where to make effective changes to your book. Your work deserves the skill and craftsmanship of a person who understands the complex world of publishing and cares about the art of words.

About Me
I am a writer, editor, and voracious reader living in Boulder, CO. I graduated magna cum laude with a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing from Kenyon College and am a graduate of the Naropa Summer Writer’s Program. After working as an outdoor educator and backpacking guide all over the American West and Patagonia, I went on to teach high school English at the Watershed School in Boulder for four years.
In addition to independent editing, I currently serve as Acquisitions Editor at Sentient Publications, a traditional publishing house distributed by Simon & Schuster.
I’m also a certified birth doula, poet/writer, musician, shamanic arts practitioner, and tender of women’s circles and community spaces.
